Uzbekistan–Korea Educational Cooperation Enters a New Stage

Following the official ceremony, a meeting was held at Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute with the participation of Mr. Lee Young Woong, Director of the Tashkent Korean Education Center under the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan, Rector of BSPI Bakhodir Bakhshulloyevich Ma'murov, the Institute's leadership, and Korean language faculty members.

During the meeting, participants discussed further development of Korean language education in the Bukhara region, improving educational quality, strengthening teachers' professional capacity, and expanding opportunities for students.

Prospective plans were also outlined for organizing advanced training courses, seminars, and workshops for Korean language teachers, promoting best pedagogical practices, exchanging experience, and implementing educational and cultural projects for young people.

Special attention was given to further developing the Korean Language program at the Institute, training qualified specialists, and expanding cooperation with educational institutions in the Republic of Korea.

At the conclusion of the discussion, Lee Young Woong and Bakhodir Bakhshulloyevich Ma'murov emphasized the importance of enriching bilateral cooperation with new content, developing existing projects, and implementing new joint initiatives in the future.

This meeting marked an important step toward strengthening educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea, advancing Korean language education in the Bukhara region, and creating broader opportunities for young people.
